Ornate arabesque foliate scrollwork decorates the areas flanking the numeral and fills the upper and lower registers, lending the design a distinctly Franco-Moorish aesthetic. The engraver's mark appears in the lower exergue area. A continuous toothed border encircles the entire design. |
