Descrizione del dritto	A large oval guilloche frame forms the central field, flanked by two intaglio portrait medallions — a male head at left and a female head at right, each turned inward toward the centre. A five-pointed star is positioned at the top centre above the bank name, with decorative foliage and the numeral 5 occupying each outer corner. Signature lines for Le Directeur and Le Caissier appear below the denomination, and a legal text cartouche is placed at the lower centre.

Descrizione del rovescio	An intaglio vignette of a female head in left-facing profile occupies the centre, set within an ornate oval surround of scrollwork and floral branches with birds among the foliage at left and right. A caduceus is placed at the top centre of the surround. The statutory and legislative inscription runs around the outer decorative border.
