The design is dominated by an elaborate central guilloche medallion of concentric oval and circular lathe-work patterns, bearing the large numeral 5 at center, surrounded by the inscription BANQUE DE LA GUADELOUPE. Four ornamental rosette vignettes occupy the corners, with additional fine geometric lathe-work filling the field. A legal warning in French is printed in a single line along the lower margin. |
