The left panel carries the numeral '5' within a horseshoe-arch cartouche over a large scalloped white oval watermark reserve. The right panel bears the issuer's title 'BANQUE D'ÉTAT DU MAROC' in red letterpress above the date, denomination 'CINQ FRANCS' in bold red intaglio, and the payability clause 'PAYABLES A VUE AU PORTEUR', with a counterfeiting warning legend at the lower margin. |
