Obverse description	Red-brown letterpress note on white paper, with an elaborate scalloped and foliate guilloche border framing the entire face. The denomination "Öt forint" is rendered in large, ornate calligraphic script at centre, with the numeral 5 at top centre flanked by the bilingual headings "Fünf Gulden" and "Pet zlaty". The Hungarian coat of arms with crown appears at lower centre, flanked by Roman numeral V countermarks at left and right; the issuing text, date "Buda-Pest, september 1-én, 1848", serial number, and two facsimile signatures of Lajos Kossuth as Minister of Finance occupy the lower half.
