背面描述 The central field bears a full-color photographic depiction of the Warawara (Crested Caracara, Caracara cheriway), Aruba's national bird, shown standing upright in full profile atop a rocky outcrop against a blue sky with white clouds. The bird's distinctive red-orange facial skin, pale cream-and-black barred breast, and dark plumage are rendered in vivid color printing. The legend 'ARUBA' arcs along the upper border and 'WARAWARA' is inscribed along the lower border, both in raised Latin lettering on the milled rim.

附加信息

Aruba has issued commemorative florins through its central bank since shortly after achieving Status Aparte from the Netherlands Antilles in 1986, giving the island its own currency and, with it, the authority to produce collector coinage. The warawara — a caracara falcon native to the island — has appeared on Aruban numismatic issues as a national symbol tied directly to that post-1986 identity.

KM#69 is a recent addition to an ongoing commemorative program that has remained modest in mintage by design, targeting the collector market rather than circulation.
