Obverse description A stylized crowned Polish eagle displayed in the center of the field, facing forward with wings spread, rendered in a simplified wartime style. The mint mark 'F' appears on each side of the eagle's tail feathers, flanking the lower body just above the talons. The design is unadorned, reflecting the austerity of wartime emergency coinage produced under German occupation administration.

Reverse description A large bold numeral '5' dominates the center of the field, flanked by the curved circular legend 'KRÓLESTWO POLSKIE' (Kingdom of Poland) arcing along the upper periphery. The denomination 'FENIGÓW' is inscribed in a straight line beneath the numeral, with the date flanked by two small five-pointed stars in the lower exergual area. The overall composition is plain and utilitarian in keeping with the emergency coinage context.
