| Reverse description | The central field displays a stylized representation of an archaic Chinese spade coin (bu currency), a form of cast bronze money used during the Zhou dynasty, rendered in bold relief and occupying the majority of the flan. To the left of the spade motif appears the character 分 (fen) and to the right 伍 (five), together reading 伍分 (5 Fen), the denomination. The entire design is framed by the same continuous geometric meander border as the obverse, lending the piece a unified and harmonious aesthetic consistent with Republican-era pattern coinage. |
