| Obverse description | Central field bears four large Chinese ideograms arranged top to bottom, right to left, flanking a pair of Manchu script characters at centre. The entire central arrangement is encircled by a continuous border of additional Chinese ideograms denoting the provincial authority, reign title, and denomination in candareens. The inscription identifies the issuing province of Kiangnan, the Guangxu Emperor's reign, and the weight standard of 3.6 candareens, rendered in both Chinese and Manchu scripts in a formal Imperial style. |
