Obverse description Central vignette of a ewe with two lambs grazing on open steppe, a flock visible in the distance, printed in olive-green and brown tones. At upper centre, the bank title in Chinese characters; at right, an oval cartouche bearing the denomination in Chinese characters. A red seal appears at lower left, and the serial number block designation appears twice at upper left and lower right within the ornamental border, which incorporates Mongolian script panels on each side.

Reverse description Intricate guilloche underprint in salmon-pink, centred on a large rosette medallion enclosing a circular hub device, flanked by two lobed floral panels bearing Mongolian script at left and the denomination in Chinese characters at right. The entire field is enclosed within a dense arabesque vine scroll border typical of Japanese colonial-era small-denomination notes.
