Reverse description A diagonal line bisects the reverse into two distinct zones with contrasting finishes. The upper zone, rendered in a matte finish, displays two heraldic elements drawn from the Amsterdam coat of arms as depicted in the style of circa 1350. The lower zone, in a polished finish, bears modern lettering recording the commemorated anniversary dates and the denomination. At the centre of the composition, bridging both zones, appear the three Saint Andrew's crosses that form the principal charge of the Amsterdam municipal arms.
