Part of the Bank of Greece's ongoing native flora series, this issue highlights Tulipa goulimyi, a wild tulip species endemic to the southern Peloponnese and a small area of Crete, first formally described by botanist Arne Strid in 1980. The species grows in such a restricted range that it is classified as vulnerable under IUCN criteria.
