| Beschrijving keerzijde | The coloured reverse presents a dreamlike, whimsical composition evoking a lullaby's imagery. A sweeping arc of musical staves curves across the field from left to right, bearing musical notes and the opening words of a traditional Lithuanian lullaby inscribed along the staff lines. A multicoloured rainbow arc leads the eye toward the right, where stylised fluffy clouds carry sleeping lambs and a golden crescent moon surmounted by a fairy-tale castle, all set against a deep purple nocturnal sky populated with stars, a planet, a comet, and a treble clef symbol. The lullaby text fragments 'Liü-lia, liü…', 'A-a, a-a, pupa…', and 'Tu, saulute, vakuran…' are inscribed along the musical staves in the field. The overall design is executed in high relief with selective colouring, blending folk tradition with a contemporary illustrative aesthetic. |
