| 表面の説明 | The copper-nickel centre field depicts a scene evoking the traditional Savonian slash-and-burn (huuhta) agricultural practice, featuring a rye stalk with a full ear extending diagonally across the field alongside a stylised burning tree trunk, rendered in high relief against a darkened background. Additional rye ears and cross-hatched elements suggestive of scorched timber fill the lower portion of the central disc, conveying the ancient cultivation method of forest burning to enrich the soil. The brass outer ring bears the bilingual legend 'SUOMI' at upper left and 'FINLAND' at lower right, incuse in bold Latin capitals. |

| 裏面の説明 | The copper-nickel centre displays the heraldic shield of the Province of Savonia (Savo), depicting a crossed arrow and a halberd (or bill) in saltire above a stepped base, surmounted by a decorative crown of nine roundels rendered in relief, faithful to the traditional provincial arms. The numeral '5' appears in large format to the left of the shield within the brass outer ring, while the mint mark 'T' (for Tapper, the engraver) and the Finnish Rose privy mark are positioned to the right. The date '2011' is inscribed at the top of the outer ring and the word 'EURO' appears in spaced Latin capitals at the base, completing the legend. |
