| Reverse description | The reverse presents a dynamic high-relief depiction of Sagittarius, the centaur archer, rendered in a bold Art Deco-influenced style. The centaur's muscular upper body is shown in three-quarter view, drawing a taut bowstring with an arrow aimed upward toward the upper field. Stylised flames rise from below the centaur's equine body, and a scattering of six-pointed stars occupies the surrounding field. The Sagittarius zodiac glyph (♐) appears prominently in the upper field above the archer. |

| Additional information |
France's annual zodiac gold series has been running long enough that the Sagittarius installment arrives without ceremony. At half a gram of fine gold, these are among the smallest legal-tender gold coins produced by Monnaie de Paris, a format the mint has leaned on heavily since the mid-2010s to broaden accessibility in the bullion-gift market.
