| Obverse description | A stylised solar burst radiates from the centre of the field, with alternating pointed rays and flame-like streams extending to the coin's rim. At the centre, a crescent moon overlaid with a large ornate numeral '5' and the Euro symbol '€' is rendered in an elaborate baroque style. France's annual zodiac gold series has been running long enough that the Sagittarius installment arrives without ceremony. At half a gram of fine gold, these are among the smallest legal-tender gold coins produced by Monnaie de Paris, a format the mint has leaned on heavily since the mid-2010s to broaden accessibility in the bullion-gift market.
