| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of the Central Bank of Malta centrally positioned in the field, depicting two armoured knights as supporters flanking a quartered shield, surmounted by a mural crown. A rope-style inner border frames the design. The legend CENTRAL BANK OF MALTA curves along the upper periphery, flanked on each side by a Maltese cross.
