Reverse description The copper-nickel centre features the Coat of Arms of Lapland, depicted as a heraldic shield bearing a standing lumberjack figure in profile, clad in traditional attire and carrying a felling axe over his shoulder, set against a plain field. The shield is surmounted by a nine-pearl coronet indicative of a Finnish provincial arms. The large numeral 5 appears to the left of the shield in the inner disc, with the engraver's initial T to the right. The legend EURO is inscribed along the lower arc of the aluminium bronze outer ring, and the date 2012 appears along the upper arc of the ring. A small mint mark is visible to the right in the outer ring.
