The architectural composition faithfully conveys the late-medieval urban fabric of the city, with towers, arched gateways, and civic buildings rendered in careful relief. The legend REPUBBLICA ITALIANA arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin characters. The engraver's signature U. PERNAZZA appears incused in the lower field. |
