| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a detailed architectural view of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ibiza, depicting the medieval Dalt Vila quarter with its characteristic fortified cathedral and bell tower rising prominently in the upper centre of the field. In the foreground, the tiled rooftops of traditional Ibizan structures are rendered in fine relief, including a distinctive domed turret element to the lower right. The inscription CIUDADES PATRIMONIO DE LA HUMANIDAD curves along the upper peripheral legend, with the place name IBIZA inscribed in the left field. The denomination 5 EURO appears to the upper right, and the crowned M mintmark of the Real Casa de la Moneda, Madrid, is positioned in the lower right field. |

Part of Spain's long-running "Joyas de Nuestra Historia" series, this issue commemorates Ibiza's designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site — a status the island holds on dual grounds, recognized for both its exceptional biodiversity (the Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows) and the preserved prehistoric and Phoenician archaeological sites at Sa Caleta and the Puig des Molins necropolis. The UNESCO listing dates to 1999, making this a relatively belated mint response.
The Real Casa de la Moneda issued the piece in proof finish only, with mintage capped at 10,000.
