| 正面描述 | The niobium centre bears a stylised right-facing effigy of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, rendered in clean, modern relief against a plain field. A vertical line bisects the design, emphasising the contemporary artistic treatment of the portrait. The inscription LËTZEBUERG curves along the left side of the centre, with the date 2011 positioned below it. The surrounding silver ring is left plain, framing the niobium centre with a smooth, contrasting border. |

Luxembourg's bimetallic collector series, of which this is one installment, was issued specifically to highlight the Grand Duchy's architectural heritage — Mersch Castle, situated in the canton of Mersch in central Luxembourg, dates to at least the 13th century and served variously as a noble residence and administrative seat across several centuries of Luxembourgish history. The niobium core, which the Banque Centrale began incorporating into this series in the early 2000s, was anodized to produce a distinctive coloration unique to each annual release.
