Reverse description The reverse depicts a naturalistic Easter scene featuring a young lamb in the foreground amid spring flowers and grass, rendered in high relief with fine detailing. Behind the lamb, a circular medallion encloses the traditional Agnus Dei motif — a stylized lamb of God bearing a banner with a cross. Wheat ears and spring blossoms frame the lower field, while the date 2017 is inscribed to the upper right in the field. The composition, designed by Herbert Wähner, combines Christian symbolism with pastoral imagery in an accomplished relief style characteristic of the Austrian Mint's commemorative issues.
