| Beschrijving keerzijde | The central vignette reproduces a period view of the former Neuilly-en-Thelle railway station, which served the commune of Crouy, captured during the final railcar service in 1958. The scene conveys a documentary character consistent with local commemorative issues of this type. Crouy-en-Thelle is a commune of roughly a thousand people in the Oise, and this 5 euro note was issued by the local sports and cultural association ahead of the single currency's arrival — part of a wave of French municipal and associative "euro anticipé" issues that circulated in small-scale local commerce and events during the mid-to-late 1990s. The Imprimerie du Griffon, based in Novillars (Doubs), produced a significant number of these anticipatory local euro notes for French associations and municipalities, giving the series a recognizable production quality despite its hyperlocal purpose.
Bernard Carruesco is credited as designer. The [60] in the catalogued name denotes the département number — Oise — a common disambiguation convention across the broader series.
