| Reverse description | The outer nickel-brass ring features a continuous zodiac wheel with all twelve astrological signs engraved in relief against a smooth background. The Cancer symbol is rendered at a larger scale with a sandblasted matte field, distinguishing it prominently from the remaining signs. The lower arc of the zodiac wheel is immersed in a stylised wave motif referencing water, the elemental association of Cancer. At the centre of the inner disc, a detailed crab is depicted in full dorsal view, its body and limbs decorated with fine ornamental lines. The field behind the crab depicts a starry sky in which the constellation of Cancer is delineated by connected stars. |
