Obverse description The obverse features a colored tulip blossom rendered in one of four variants — blue, white, red, or orange — occupying the upper central field, its stem elegantly curving downward. To the left of the stem appears the right-facing effigy of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. The legend BEATRIX KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN runs along the periphery in Latin script. The design celebrates the shared cultural heritage of the tulip between the Netherlands and Turkey.
