| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse depicts a detailed view of the Josefsplatz in Vienna, one of the finest Baroque squares in Europe, dominated by the equestrian statue of Emperor Joseph II at center. Flanking the square are the wings of the Hofburg Imperial Palace, including the section housing the Spanish Riding School and the Great Redoubt Hall, both of which served as venues for official events during Austria's 2006 Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The inscription 'JOSEFSPLATZ' appears in the lower field, while the circular legend reads 'ÖSTERREICHISCHE PRÄSIDENTSCHAFT IM RAT DER EU' around the periphery.
