Obverse description The crowned coat of arms of the Republic of San Marino occupies the central field, flanked symmetrically by an olive branch to the left and an oak branch to the right. The shield displays the three towers of Mount Titano on a silver and azure field, with a scroll bearing the motto LIBERTAS at its base. A mural crown surmounts the escutcheon. The circular legend REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO runs along the upper periphery, while the engraver's signature A.NAPOLIONE appears in the lower field beneath the arms. The coin is struck in proof quality with a deeply mirrored field contrasting against frosted relief devices.
