| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a detailed aerial-perspective illustration of a circular Dutch water defence fort, complete with a surrounding moat and a drawbridge extending from the lower foreground, rendered in finely engraved relief at centre. Above the fort, three undulating horizontal lines evoke water, styled in the manner of a postage stamp cancellation mark, symbolising the inundation defence system. The denomination 5 EURO appears prominently in large stylised lettering to the right of centre. An encircling legend filling the entire periphery of the field lists, in small text, all the named forts of the Defence Line of Amsterdam, alongside the inscription DE STELLING VAN AMSTERDAM NEDERLANDS WERELDERFGOED 2017. |

Issued to commemorate the Stelling van Amsterdam — a 135-kilometer ring of 19th-century fortifications surrounding the city, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996 — this coin was part of the Dutch collector series released under Willem-Alexander, who acceded to the throne in 2013 following his mother Beatrix's abdication. The silver-plated copper composition places it firmly outside legal tender circulation in the conventional sense; these pieces were sold directly to collectors at a premium over face value.
