Beschrijving voorzijde	The field is dominated by a textured brushstroke motif rendered with varying degrees of matte finish and sculptural relief, evoking the gestural quality of abstract painting. A facsimile of the artist Džemma Skulme's signature is inscribed across the upper portion of the field. Along the right edge, oriented vertically, appear the denomination '5 EURO', the date '2025', and the issuing authority 'LATVIJA' in raised Latin lettering. The overall design integrates fine-art printmaking aesthetics with traditional coin-making techniques, blurring the boundary between numismatic object and artistic medium.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse presents a full-colour reproduction of a fragment from the painting 'Dialogue' by Latvian artist Džemma Skulme, executed in oil on canvas (140.0 cm × 150.0 cm; held in the Latvian National Museum of Art, accession no. LNMM VMM AG-1601). The image is rendered through a combination of colour printing and sculptural relief, imparting a striking three-dimensional quality to the pictorial surface. Bold, expressive brushwork and vivid chromatic contrasts characterise the composition, faithfully conveying the artist's abstract painterly style.
