Reverse description The reverse, designed by Luc Luycx, depicts a stylized globe highlighting Europe's position within the world, rendered against a dynamic background formed by the twelve stars of the European Union arranged in a sweeping arc. The denomination '5 EURO CENT' is inscribed prominently, accompanied by the designer's initials 'LL' in the field. The design is common to all eurozone member states issuing the 5 euro cent denomination and follows the standard reverse type established at the introduction of euro coinage in 2002.
