| Obverse description | The obverse features a stylized pixelated figure of a man in motion, rendered in a mosaic or dot-matrix artistic style, positioned to the right of centre. Radiating from behind the figure is a sweeping arc of dots and stars suggesting movement or a trail, evoking the prehistoric Divača man petroglyph motif. The country name SLOVENIJA is inscribed in spaced Latin lettering along the upper rim, interspersed with the twelve stars of the European Union border. The mint year appears at the lower left of the field, with the mint mark positioned between letters A and J of SLOVENIJA on certain issues. The overall design was created by engraver M. Licul. |
