| Obverse description | The obverse presents a collage of architectural sketches by Latvian architect Marta Staņa, rendered in a coloured printing technique. At centre, a perspective rendering of the Dailes Theatre in Riga is depicted against a yellow-tinted background print, with the roofline of the unrealised Rēzekne open-air stage shown beneath it. To the left appears a facade fragment of the residential building at Brīvības iela 313, Riga, while an abstract wooden form occupies the right field. The national name LATVIJA is inscribed along the upper margin, with the denomination 5 EURO positioned in the lower field. |
