| Opmerkingen |
The P#14 series was introduced as Swaziland consolidated its currency framework under King Mswati III, who acceded to the throne in April 1986 following a period of regency after Sobhuza II's death in 1982. The B.S. Dlamini and H.B.B. Oliver signature combination is specific to an early window of the series — subsequent printings carried different pairings, making the signatory combination a meaningful point of differentiation between issues that otherwise appear identical.
De La Rue's security thread on this series is a plain unwindowed type, predating the more sophisticated foil-based threads the printer introduced in later Swazi issues.
