Poznámky	Swaziland's early De La Rue issues appeared just over a decade after the country's 1974 switch from the South African rand — a currency union it had been locked into since independence in 1968. The lilangeni was pegged to the rand at parity, a relationship maintained throughout this note's print run and well beyond, which made these notes functionally interchangeable with South African currency in cross-border trade. Two signature combinations are documented for P#9, reflecting a change in the Governor's chair during the issue window — Simelane preceding Dlamini.
