Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia, her hair elaborately dressed in tight curls and drawn back, wearing a brooch-fastened mantle over an ornate bodice. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque portrait style characteristic of mid-18th century Austrian coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust, reading M. THERESIA D. G. R. IMP. GE. HU. BO. REG., abbreviating her full imperial and royal titles. The inner border is plain, while the outer rim features a fine reeded edge visible at the coin's periphery.
