Reverse description Central quartered coat of arms of the Bishopric of Bamberg impaled with the personal arms of the Schönborn family, surmounted by a prince-bishop's mitre topped by a patriarchal cross, and flanked on either side by elaborate Baroque cartouche supporters. The shield quarters display the episcopal arms of Bamberg alongside the Schönborn family bearings, including a lion, lozenges, and a rose. A crozier and sword cross behind the shield denoting temporal and spiritual authority. The date 1696 is divided below the shield, flanked by the mintmaster's initials G·F·N, and the circumferential Latin motto legend IN MANIBVS DOMINI SORTES MEÆ runs around the upper and lateral fields, all contained within an inner border and the characteristic milled outer rim.
