| Obverse description | Draped bust of Bishop Charles III Joseph of Lorraine facing right, attired in elaborate ecclesiastical vestments richly decorated with ornamental detail, bearing the distinctive Lorraine cross as a prominent adornment. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the baroque style characteristic of early eighteenth-century Central European coinage.
