| Obverse description | Equestrian effigy of Prince Eugene of Savoy mounted on a rearing horse, facing right, depicted in full armor with period military attire and elaborate saddlecloth with decorative trappings. The composition is rendered in high relief in the baroque tradition, with the engraver's initials 'W' visible in the lower field. A six-pointed star appears to the left of the rider, flanked by the birth year 1663 at left and the commemorative year 1963 at lower right. The peripheral legend reads EUGENIUS PRINC at the top and AUSTRIA along the lower rim. |
