| Obverse description | Standing full-length figure of a nude earth goddess facing slightly left, her arms slightly extended at her sides with open palms, rendered in a stylized Art Deco manner. The figure stands atop a raised oval ground element, with the engraver's signature WELZ inscribed at lower right of the central device. The date 1959 appears in two parts flanking the figure's feet, and the inscription IMPERIUM MUNDI is incuse along the lower border. The circular legend OMNES EX EADEM TERRA NATI SUMUS runs along the upper periphery in bold Latin lettering, conveying the humanist motto 'We are all born of the same earth.' |
