Reverse description A bold ornamental cross design occupies the central field, composed of four stylized cornucopia-like arms radiating from a central medallion, each arm terminating in decorative maple leaf motifs and volute flourishes evoking prosperity and abundance. At the centre of the cross, within a raised cartouche, the denomination 'V DUCAT' is inscribed. The fineness '980' appears in the lower exergual area beneath the central device. The surrounding legend reads 'PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI' in the upper arc and 'AUREUS MAGNUS' in the lower arc, separated by small rosette ornaments, all set against a deeply mirrored proof field.
