Reverse description A bold six-armed decorative cross dominates the center of the reverse, with stylized fleurs-de-lis terminating each arm and trefoil leaf ornaments filling the angles between the arms. At the center of the cross, within a cartouche, appears the denomination V DUCAT. The legend PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI arcs along the upper periphery, while AUREUS MAGNUS appears along the lower periphery. The fineness mark 980 is placed in the lower field, and small star ornaments serve as punctuation between the legends.
