| Obverse description | Four jugate busts arranged in a quatrefoil composition, each portrait set within an individual oval cartouche with beaded border and accompanied by a Latin legend identifying the respective ruler. At centre, a crowned imperial eagle shield flanked by additional armorial shields occupies the junction of the four cartouches. The portraits depict, clockwise from the top: Christian of Brandenburg-Bayreuth (Markgraf), Joachim Ernst of Brandenburg-Ansbach (Markgraf), Johann Georg of Bamberg (Bishop), and Philipp Adolf of Würzburg (Bishop), each shown in draped bust facing right or left in alternating arrangement. The entire design is enclosed within a milled outer border. |
