| Obverse description | The centre of the note carries the denomination and bilingual Italian and Greek text set within a fine guilloche underprint, flanked on either side by cornucopia vignettes. A figure of Hermes appears at right as the principal allegorical motif, rendered in a classical intaglio style. The overall composition is formal and symmetrical, characteristic of Italian occupation currency produced by the Istituto Poligrafico. |

| Reverse description | A sheaf of wheat vignette occupies the left portion of the design, balancing the central panel which bears the denomination and bilingual Italian and Greek inscriptions within guilloche work. The layout is spare and utilitarian, consistent with the emergency occupation-issue character of the series. No principal figurative allegory is present on this face. |
