| Obverse description | Vignette of Athena in classical armour at left within a guilloche border panel, with the denomination numeral '5' in the upper corners. The central field carries the title inscription 'ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ' at top, the value legend 'ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ ΠΕΝΤΕ' below, and a serial number, date, and two manuscript signatures over printed signature titles.
