| Opis awersu | This note represents the left half of a bisected 10 Drachmai note (P-43), officially authorised for circulation as a 5 Drachmai denomination. The left portion retains the classical vignette of a standing male figure in ancient Greek attire, printed in violet-blue intaglio against a guilloche underprint. Red letterpress serial numbering and partial Greek inscriptions including the bank title ΕΘΝΙΚΗ ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ and prohibitory overprint legend ΑΠΑΓΟΡΕΥΕΤΑΙ ΝΑ Κ... are visible, along with two manuscript signatures at lower centre. |
