Obverse description This note represents the left half of a bisected 10 Drachmai note (P-43), officially authorised for circulation as a 5 Drachmai denomination. The left portion retains the classical vignette of a standing male figure in ancient Greek attire, printed in violet-blue intaglio against a guilloche underprint. Red letterpress serial numbering and partial Greek inscriptions including the bank title ΕΘΝΙΚΗ ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ and prohibitory overprint legend ΑΠΑΓΟΡΕΥΕΤΑΙ ΝΑ Κ... are visible, along with two manuscript signatures at lower centre.

Reverse description The reverse of this bisected half displays the right-half guilloche underprint design of the parent 10 Drachmai note in violet, with repeated numeral '10' counters arranged within interlocking lathe-work rosettes. A partial arc inscription reading NATIONA... is visible at left, consistent with the reverse text of the full note, and the denomination numeral '10' appears in ornamental cartouches at upper right and lower right.
