正面描述	Bare-headed effigy of King George I facing right, rendered in high relief with finely engraved hair swept back from the forehead, characteristic of the Neo-Classical medallic style of the Paris Mint. The truncation of the neck is sharply cut and unadorned. The circular legend reads ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ Α ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ, running from lower left to lower right along the inner border of beads. The engraver's signature ΒΑΡΡΕ appears in the lower field beneath the bust, flanked by a small mint mark.
