Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Constantine II, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair. The royal legend encircles the portrait along the upper periphery, reading ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ (Constantine, King of the Greeks). The date 1966 appears in the lower exergual area flanked by raised dots. The engraver's signature B. ΦΑΛΗΡΕΑΣ (V. Phalireas) is inscribed in small letters beneath the truncation of the neck. The overall style is neoclassical, consistent with mid-twentieth-century Greek royal coinage.
