| Obverse description | The complete arms of Fiji are depicted centrally, featuring a quartered shield supported by two Fijian warriors in traditional dress, one holding a spear and the other a war club. The shield bears the Cross of St. George with a British lion passant in the first quarter, sugar cane, a coconut palm, a dove of peace, and a banana stalk in the remaining quarters, with a British lion holding a cocoa pod on a chief.
