| Obverse description | The national arms of the Republic of the Marshall Islands occupies the central field, depicting a frigatebird with outstretched wings above a traditional outrigger canoe, flanked by palm trees to the left and a sailing vessel to the right, with a radiant sun rising above the composition. The word SEAL appears in a cartouche at the base of the arms. The outer border is formed by a decorative chain link motif.
