| 备注 |
The Royal Bank of Canada's wartime chartered bank issues occupy an odd position in Canadian numismatic history — by 1943, the Bank of Canada had already assumed full control of currency issuance, yet chartered banks retained the legal right to issue their own notes until 1950. This series continued largely as a matter of institutional habit and contractual obligation rather than monetary necessity.
Morris W. Wilson served as President of the Royal Bank from 1934 until his death in 1946, making him a fixture across the wartime signature combinations. Dobson held the General Manager's position. The British American Bank Note Company split production between its Montreal and Ottawa facilities throughout this period.
